A new chapter in the Origins series is set to unfold this summer as Namco Bandai has confirmed the North American release of Dragon Ball: Origins 2, exclusively for the Nintendo DS.

A follow-up to the highly succesful Dragon Ball: Origins title, Dragon Ball: Origins 2 continues the story of young Goku as he and his friends battle the Red Ribbon Army up to the resurrection of Upa's father in search for the seven enchanted Dragon Balls.

The latest action-adventure game includes an array of features including the ability to play as different characters, including Krillin, Bulma, Yamcha and more, each with their own abilities and power-ups. Players can also team up with a friend for co-op multiplayer challenges to unlock extra missions. It will also feature a situation-based camera that adapts with the changing gameplay to bring players closer to the action.

Dragon Ball: Origins 2 for Nintendo DS will be available in summer 2010

Looking forward for this one. Love the first game! Has anyone played the last game?
