Digimon DS To Invade The US?

Ó

digimon ratingsDigimon (Digital Monster) is a very popular Japanese series of merchandise that includes toys, manga and anime. Did we forget anything? Oh yeah, it's also a video game. Details about this game is scarce. It was released in Japan back in June but no word on its North American arrival. Until today. Well, maybe.

Rumors come from all corners of the web but this is the first one that came from the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) . The ERSB lists a game called Digimon for the DS. Is this Digimon Story or Digimon 5 (which does have a North American release date: October 1)?

According to their ratings Digimon for the DS platform carries an E10+ label for its crude humor, mild fantasy violence and mild language. Which Digimon is this again? We'll get to the bottom of this as soon as we can.

# I will be waiting for this...Guest 2006-09-06 07:07
As a former fan of Digimon World 4 I will be looking forward to playing another digimon game on my DS. The whole digimon concept (almost) always translated well into video games. :)

The only downside is the US version will likely be heavily censored so any crude humor or mild language will likely be removed. Damn those infernal censors!
