Development status of some Square Enix titles |
Ó
School of Rock star Jack Black once sang, "Math is wonderful thing." Well, we can't help but agree. After all, Mathematics indeed is the universal language. It crosses, more than anything else, language barriers. Take for example this little piece of information we came across today. We got it from a French site claiming they got it from a Japanese magazine. Weird, huh? It's a good thing though that the news is about the development percentage that certain Square Enix titles are currently in now. The PS2 version of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix is well over finish at 130%. But since they are doing two plays, a little more refinement is necessary.
Unfortunately, fans of the Final Fantasy series would have to wait for a longer period of time as the next-gen versions are still far from the 50% mark (Final Fantasy XIII - 13%; Final Fantasy Versus XIII - 1.3%). Furthermore, DS titles Itadaki Street and Final Fantasy XII Ghost Wings are already halfway done.

FU*K THAT! What about giving us an english translation of Front Mission 5? micky & company can go screw themselves, and its not very surprising that the Final Fantasies ( or is it Fantasy(e)s? ) aren't very far along in production yet...
After waiting 5 years for the next Final Fantasy (XII) one would think that the following would have still been on a time table from previous entries, because they have two studios working on alternating games... so why is XIII at only 13%? I doubt it... I kind of even feel that just because they used the number to describe its completedness just raises more doubt.
Bob, it's not easy making games for the PS3. Plus, they're probably finishing the PS2 titles that we've been waiting for so long before XIII. O and the 2nd poster, Front Mission didn't do to well in the US. KH is doing better then Front Mission.
