Death Note Ads Starting To Make Their Way Into Magazine Pages |
Ó

Fangirls (and boys) get ready, as Konami has already released magazine advertisements for one of their titles for the Nintendo DS, Death Note.
The game is based upon the manga of the same title that was written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata, and was serialized in Shonen Jump in 2004. The story revolves around the high school student Raito Yagami who has found a mysterious notebook "Death Note" which apparently has the power to kill anyone whose name is written on its pages.
Expected to make full use of the NDS' touch screen and stylus, we are currently assuming that you are to help Raito save the world by scribbling away the name of the baddies (from Raito's point of view anyway) in the deadly notebook. Other than that, there is still not much information that is available about the game, though that is expected to change once the game's website gains full functionality.
Death Note is due for release in February of 2007.
