Dad passes on Mario fandom to his kid |

Metalproductions is one hardcore Ninty fan. Born in the late seventies, he has been into gaming since he started toying around with his grandma's Radioshack Pong. He says that he progressed to Atari VCS when his dad bought him one, but he attributes his "crowning gaming memory" to NES: "Never before or after has a game made such a leap (for its time) in imagination, game play, and overall presentation. It was light years ahead of any other game before it."
Well, he's got a two year-old son now, and it seems like he's passing the torch to the little chap. He says that his toddlers' room is bedecked with Mario stuffies: he has Mario-themed curtains, a pillow case, a comforter with red M's on it, even a Mario-painted wall!
In fact, he even took pictures of it to prove it. Also, he's added some Photoshopped versions of his son in full Mario garb and a Mario background to boot. Guess he's one hell of a gamer dad, isn't he?

In the year 2018 a depraved and disturbed teenage boy enters his highschool with a gun....when asked why he said it was a combination of watching teletubies and barney and his dad dressing him up like mario and sitting him on his lap as his dad was dressed like Luigi. Luckily no shots were fired as when the boy entered the school he remembered the words of a man in a sweater he had seen on tv. the words "Won't you be my neighbor?" echoed through his brain and the strains of sanity and remorse coursed through his veins. He put down the gun and gave the nerdy kid a wedgie and went home.
Sadly the cycle was repeated ten years later when the boy dressed his son up like Crash Bandicoot. His child followed the same path but again strong words from a wise television personality saved the day.
Is he passing his fandom on or trying to relive his childhood through his son?
