Have you ever wanted a cute puppy? Well, the newest puppy game, "Kawaii Koinu DS", or in english Cute Puppy DS gives you a chance to own one, virtually of course. Like the Ocha Ken game, Cute Puppy lets you play with our puppy, however, the game is not as versatile as Ocha Ken. Instead, it's an upgraded form of a Tamagotchi, wherein you are basically given a dog and you are tasked to feed it, train it, and play with it. The only thing it has similar to Ocha Ken is its design system which allows you to design the room where you can play with your dog, you can even give them toys and their own bed! You can also make your dogs fall in love. If you walk your dog in the park, you can make it befriend other dogs, however, the preview of the game does not entail whether the game includes breeding dogs in the future.

Other than just playing with the dog you can also do other things, for example you can run some of your mom's errands with your dog, this gives you an opportunity to socialize with fellow dog owners in your town as well as teach your dog a trick or two. This cute title is an entirely different game compared to the old Tamagotchi, for one, the game really centers on your relationship with your dog rather than the dog being the sole star that needs your attention. More so, the game does not forget that there is more to the world than just playing with your dog, because of this, more than playing this is a game that teaches kids the value of owning a pet.

Hmm...

This looks like a port of the game 'Dogz' that came out for the GBA to compete with Nintendogs.
