CrocoDS 2.0: now with new GUI and save state support |
Ó
Homebrew developers Redbug and KuKulcan have released CrocoDS 2.0 for the Nintendo DS. In case you aren't familiar with this application, it is an Amstrad CPC emulator that was based on the PC-CPC emulator from demoniak. This application will run on any Nintendo DS with a linker that supports DLDI.This application has undergone significant changes since CrocoDS 1.0. This latest build now allows players to load, read, and erase save states . In addition to this, the application patches up a few of the bugs and includes a better graphical user interface than before. Here are the patch notes as taken from the documentation:
- Save-states (load, read & erase).
- New design. (thanks to kukulcan)
- Autostart.
- Better support of the copy, shift, control and caps-lock keys.
- Single / multi-keys pressed for activate cheat code.
- Minor update in the Z80 emulation.
- Bugfixes in the timing of the sound module. (thanks to Alekmaul)
- All options are now available via icons.
- Screen capture (you need sna2png to convert the snapshot to bitmap)
- Speed limiter. (CrocoDS is sometimes too fast)
