As we reported earlier, more exciting news comes from Activision on the new X-MEN game today.  In order to make a more realistic storyline for gamers and fans of the X-MEN universe, Activision has enlisted the help of fan favorite X-Men writer Chris Claremont.  You may remember Claremont handled the writing on Uncanny X-MEN & X-MEN for a combined sixteen years and was responsible for some of the greatest story lines in the X-Universe. Claremont even came out of retirement at fans request to head current titles "Uncanny X-MEN" & "New Excalibur".  Claremont was also responsible for such comics as Sovereign Seven, Gen13, Iron Fist and Ms. Marvel.

Activision in association with Hypnos Entertainment and Z-Axis plans on a multiplatform release for the PS2, X-Box, Gamecube, X-Box 360, PC, Nintendo DS, and Gameboy Advance on May 19th.  No word on a PSP version or release date.  Console versions will have a T rating while the portable versions are slapped with an E rating.
