Chocobo!

On to the lighter, cuter, yellower side of things, we're giving you guys a peek at how the Japanese would celebrate the entry of Square Enix's latest Chocobo title into the market. Chocobo to Mahou no Ehon just got released in Japan today (December 14), and it caused waves of smothering cuteness among its fans.

As to how that life-sized Chocobo mascot was able to sneak past the crowds with its feathers unruffled, we don't know. We're just glad that the Elebits incident didn't repeat itself.

If you check out the pics from the launch, notice that they were also giving away Chocobo-themed Nintendo DS sleeves for those who purchased the game. How's that for a bargain? Sadly, this invasion in Japan might only stay in Japan. There hasn't been any updates yet as to when this game will be released for the Western market, much less if it ever will.

We need to free those people from that island! They grow more and more weird by the second. This blog is evidence of that fact.
