Chocobo and the Magic Picture Book

Here's the first scans for the new DS game in Square-Enix' Chocobo game series, utilizing what strongly looks like the Final Fantasy III engine for another spin-off adventure. Titled Chocobo And The Magic Picture Book (Chocobo To Mahou No Ehon), the game is a mix of card game and RPG mechanics. The cute, colorful graphics are really on par with Final Fantasy III, so it's a shame that The Magic Picture Book will probably never see the light of the day outside Japan. Nevertheless, it's worth to check out the scans to see what nice stuff we'll be missing out on.

(Thanks to Jonnyram over at GAF for the scans)
