Charlotte's Web Wilbur: Dominic Scott Kay

There hasn't been too much news lately for Charlotte's Web for the DS even after the announcement of its release, but it looks like game developer Sega's decided to break that silence, as they recently announced that child actor Dominic Scott Kay will be voicing over Wilbur the pig in this upcoming DS title.

Dominic, who also starred as the voice role of Wilbur in the recent movie adaptation of this timeless children's classic, was very excited regarding the game's release.

"I love videogames and I'm really excited to have my voice in Charlotte's Web,", he said, and added "I think it is so cool that the first game I've ever worked on is based on a story that everyone loves. I can't wait for it to come out so that I can play it with my friends and family."

Charlotte's Web lets the player take control of either Wilbur the pig, or Templeton the rat, as they explore all the areas in the game reminiscent of E.B. White's settings, as the game's interactivity adds a new level of interactivity to children's story.

The movie's due for release this December, so we recommend seeing (and playing) both for effect.
