Castevania - Image 1

For those of us eagerly anticipating the debut of everyone's favorite vampire-related videogame franchise, Castlevania, on the silver screen, here's a bit of bad news: the movie's production has unfortunately ground to a halt. The reason? It's because of the writer's guild strike that is still currently ongoing. Ouch.

There's no word yet on just when production will resume, or even an updated ETA of the movie's completion. But until we get more information, we'll just have to hope that this doesn't affect the end product's quality much.

After all, what with Stomp the Yard's Sylvain White in the director's chair, a lot of Castlevania fans are eager to see just what sort of masterpiece we'll be able to behold - as well as see if it breaks the game-to-movie adaptation curse. Updates as we get them.

I thank god for the strike because this movie was going to be a failure like all video game movies except Silent Hill.

Yeah right, thinking that the movie will be bad but never seen a scene, good logic.....
