Capcom's Mega MAn Star Force 2 NDS - Image 1Capcom has finally revealed details regarding Mega Man Star Force 2 for the Nintendo DS. Much like the previous game in the series, it will be released in multiple versions: Zerker X Ninja and Zerker X Saurian.

Fans of the previous game will be pleased to find that Mega Man Star Force 2 implements a few significant changes to the gameplay such as an updated battle system, new battle cards, and new enemies.

The game continues two months after the end of the first one. Geo Stelar and crew return to fight more UMAs (unidentified animated beings) and a new opponent known as the “Rogue.”  Over the course of the story, a mysterious organization slowly emerges with plans to revive the ancient civilization of “Mu” by using an ancient heritage called “OOPArt.”

Mega Man Star Force 2 also allows players to connect with in-game friends using the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection or Wireless LAN. From there, users can add new friends to their network to create a “Brother Band” network, where they can share cards, status upgrades, and even help each other to perform upgraded transformations. Players can also test their skills against other players.

Mega Man Star Force 2 is expected to be available by June this year.
