Capcom announces Rockman EXE: Operate Shooting Star

There will be a DS remake for Mega Man Battle Network, so revealed by Capcom earlier today, and it goes by the name Rockman EXE: Operate Shooting Star. The "data action RPG" will bring extra content previously absent from the original title.

Judging from the concept art found above, it appears that there will be some sort of partnership happening for Mega Man EXE and Mega Man Star Force. How's that gonna fly considering that their stories are 200 years apart? Maybe the shooting star will serve as a time machine or something.

We'll find out soon enough once Rockman EXE: Operate Shooting Star comes out in Japan this winter.
