Brave Story Details |
Ó
Brave Story was announced long ago but no details have been revealed until recently. It will be a game developed by Bandai Namco based on a novel and animated movie by Miyuki Miyabe. The character you play is a boy who lost his memory due to the shock of losing his mother at a young age. He was put into a hospital until you start the game at the age of 18. You are trying to recover your lost memories by travelling to an alternate world in which you appear as a 13 year old. You are allowed to pick one of two partner characters. One, Wataru, is a fifth-grader who comes from a family with a suicidal mother and a father who abandoned him. He is the main character of the novel the game is based on and choosing him allows you to play through the story of the novel. The other partner character is Mitsuru who is in this alternate reality to bring her sister back from the dead. Choosing Mitsuru allows you to play through a story made specially for the game.
Exploration of dungeons will use the touchscreen to solve puzzles. It will be released on July 6th, 2006.
