Attack of the Show Host Attacks a DS Lite On Air

The DS Lite has received bad press over its reported Achilles Heel, which happens to be its hinge. Although Nintendo said they were not aware of any manufacturing problems with the DS Lite's hinges, the company reminded its customers that it would repair the problem free of charge if it shows within the warranty period and if the damage was not caused by misuse. In case you're wondering what constitutes "misuse", Kevin Pereira of Attack of the Show demonstrates how to inflict damage on the DS Lite and void the warranty at the same time. Don't try this at home kids...unless you got your own TV show or suffering from temporary insanity (or in the case of Kevin, probably both)!

ds has homebrew, it's different than psp, but both are cool and if you enjoy psp homebrew you'll enjoy ds homebrew. If you like creating the stuff, ds is slightly easier - less worry about firmware upgrades causing people not to be able to use your stuff.

Obviously the two are different, and that's good; despite what people say about one needing to be superior, the point is both can be fun, and they're relatively inexpensive. (I said relatively (: )

I hate that show. I used to watch Screen Savers and then G4 destroyed the show with that clown. I turned in my digital box because I couldn't stand that man or that show. This video assured me that it was the right decision.

I have absolutely no respect for anything that happens on G4. It's a terrible network. I miss Tech TV.

PS: The DS Homebrew Scene's pretty awesome, at the moment. It doesn't have some of the incredible applications like PiMP Streamer on the PSP, but the remote desktop control, and Moonshell really kick some a.s.s.

What was the point of that? It was semi reasurring though to see that despite him stepping on the thing, it held together for the most part. The hinge and the screen he pryed out were about the only things that broke apart. Not too bad in my book.

Oh, tyhe humanity! I cringed when I saw this video, I can't take it anymore...

Seriously, Nintendo usually makes great products but has kind of screwed up with the ds lite's design. Ah well, we all make mistakes. Fortunately, the original DS is still available and can take a fair bit of punishment.

Oh, and as for DS vs PSP, it all depends on your personal tastes.

I personally chose to stick with the DS for now since I disagree with the policies surrounding the PSP, I make it a point to support companies who bend over backwards to please their customers. Of course, that does not mean I have no respect for the PSP, since it is also a great piece of hardware and has an interesting homebrew scene.

As the girl (can't tell who she is due to i dont watch that show) is right. He just smashed a DS Lite on air in front of perhaps thousands of people. It's no respect at all for video games. The only reasons PSP is so great is because there is the DS, the only reason the DS is so great is because there's a PSP. He states that Nintendo comes out with another cheaply made product, I don't know I think if you did that to any electronic device it would kinda bust up like that too. It pains me to see a DS Lite get busted up, it's my handheld of choice, and to do that on the air, that just isn't respectful to owners of the console, nor video gaming in general. Anyone who appreciates any video game console being torn apart and then ranted at is a fanboy imo. It's a disgrace to videogaming to do acts such as that.

Alot about Kevin Eh? I loved him in the early days of AOTS but now he keeps becoming more and more scripted :s. He can be a funny guy, but AOTS is just horrible now. Obviusly it was a joke, he prooved that it is durable lol , you could see him strugle, and this was on purpose.....its would have been kool if kevin just in the middle of the show desided to do that, but not with scripting. all this hype about PSP vs. DS, ***** that. psp is great and all but where the ***** are the games? you really wanna be stuck playing 1.50 only games, or spend 400 dollars on a modded one? just for emulators that you can easily have on a desktop or laptop for less hassle????? honestly, i'd rather have a ds. that's coming from a guy who's had a psp for over a year, and played with all it has to offer.
