Ghostbusters: The Video Game - Image 1This has been an open secret for a while (like how the Secret Service is supposed to be a secret), but now it's officially official. Officially.

Via press release, Atari has announced that it will be publishing the Ghostbusters (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS) video game. A PSP version still isn't planned for the game though.

The video game has always been part of a plan to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original film. As part of the celebration, Sony has also announced that they will be re-releasing the original two movies on Blu-ray.

The original Ecto-1 (the Ghostbuster-mobile) was also resurrected and spruced up for promotional appearances across the US. The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man has also been commissioned to make appearances in New York City, but he declined, saying that he got into a sticky situation on his last visit.

» Ressurection of Atari?

I sure hope so. Was probably the best game company in the old days.
