Need for Speed: Nitro, the first entry in the NFS racing franchise exclusively made for the Nintendo Wii and DS platforms, has been given an official launch date by Electronic Arts. Wii and DS owners can get their copies on November 17 and 20 in the US and UK, respectively.
One of the game's heavily touted features is its customization system. Gamers can design a unique art style to attach to their ride, and as they edge out competitors, their art will "overtake the world, vibrantly painting the story of racing supremacy."
Nitro also features varied track designs, deep controls, and intuitive drift and nitro mechanics. All of the racing will be done across five cities including some real world locales.
