AmeDS - Image 1

For those of us who loved homebrew developer Alekmaul's Amstrad CPC 6128 emulator for the Nintendo DS, here's a special treat: the latest version of AmeDS has just been rolled out, and it sports an awesome new feature - the feature that lets you download an Amstrad CPC 6128 game from the Internet and play it directly AFTER you've downloaded it. Yes, Wi-Fi functionality, and it's included when you update to version 2.1.

Here's the list of all the changes since the last version:
  • Play by WiFi! Download the game via the Internet and play with the menu "PLAY GAME FROM THE WEB: D!
  • Compiling with devkitarm r21
  • Saving screenshots is now off "no resize, so it was full-screen CPC!
  • Multi save snapshots and screenshots (name ending with 000 to 999)
  • Added buttons ] [: *? > <In the configuration of keys DS
  • Optimizing the management of its VJ 8912
  • Pb blink when scrolling screen with the X button resolved
  • Acceleration of managing the Z80 C
  • Switch 1024 visible files in the file list
Definitely a meaty update, and one you should look into to keep the emulation happy for your handheld going. Enjoy!
