Activision's Monsters vs Aliens game: details and screens |
Ó
The plot is in the title. The protagonists are monsters... versus invading aliens.... Not particularly ground breaking stuff but hey, Stephen Colbert is in the movie playing The President of the United States, so that certainly earns them some points.
The game will feature a single player and a co-op mode. Players can switch between the protagonists of the film as they play (though player 2 in co-op mode is stuck playing a cockroach).
The game will be released March of next year and will be available for the PS3, 360, Wii, DS, PS2 and PC. Expect to pay around US$ 50 for the next gen console versions, US$ 30 for the handheld and US$ 20 for the PC.
The movie is out on March 27, in case you were wondering.

I saw a pre-release screening of the movie and....It sucks pretty bad. Let's just hope that the game is actually worth playing because the movie isn't worth watching...
