3DS to have widescreen, analog stick? |
Listed in: Nintendo DS Tags: 3ds, FCC, Nintendo
Nintendo has been pretty quiet about the 3DS's official specs, but an alleged target board for the handheld's prototype seems to point to a wider screen, among other modifications.
As you can see in the image below, the board's top screen is bigger than the touch screen. You'll also notice what seems to be card reader at the bottom left and something that looks like an analog stick at the bottom center of the board.

The image comes from an FCC filing for the 3DS's Wifi system. It's just a prototype so the final product may not even resemble it at launch. The same report also notes that Nintendo asked the FCC to keep the 3DS's guts under wraps for 180 days from April 2010. That ends just before the Christmas shopping season.

this "3ds" is really starting to sound like the craziest thing ...it supposedly has wide screen, analog stick, rumble, accelerometer and of course...3d gaming ..as if that was not enough.
