3DS software line-up reviewed and scored by Famitsu |
Listed in: Nintendo DS Tags: news, Nintendo
Japanese magazine Famitsu was one such reviewer, and even before the 3DS hit the market, they already sent out what they thought about the games coming out for it. You'd be glad to know that most of the titles did get recent ratings, although none of them got a perfect score.
The top game, however, which garnered a 38/40 score, was Nintendogs + Cats. Coming in at a not-so-close second would at 34/40 would be Samurai Warriors Chronicles.

Also rated by Famitsu, although not pegged as 3DS launch titles, were Super Street Fighter IV 3D (which got 34/40), Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Pro Evolution Soccer and Ridge Racer.
Here's the list of games with their ratings:
- Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition – 34/40
- Samuari Warriors Chronicles – 34/40
- Winning Eleven 3D Soccer – 32/40
- Puzzle Bobble 3D – 24/40
- Nintendogs + Cats – 38/40
- Ridge Racer 3D – 32/40
- Combat of Giant Dinosaurs 3D – 23/40
- Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask – 32/40
- Shanghai 3D Cube – 26/40
- Super Monkey Ball 3D – 32/40
Nintendo's 3DS handheld officially sees the light of retail day on February 26th in Japan, March 25th in Europe, and March 27th in the US. We're expecting long queues and big events to herald its arrival, and of course, the much-needed jolt back into the heart of good ol' handheld competition.
After this, it's going to be Sony's turn to make their move. That should make things even more exciting once again.
