16 year old gets a new Nintendo DS, finds rocks in the box |
Ó
Surprise, surprise. Just like the porn-infested PSP, the new DS was purchased from a Wal-Mart outlet. Wykle demanded a refund, but Wal-Mart would not comply since the DS had never been returned. Instead, Wykle was told to contact Nintendo. Since it was her son's birthday, she opted to go and buy another DS first, and demanded that the Wal-Mart staff open it in front of her before paying for it.
Wykle managed to contact Nintendo, whose national representatives gave her a refund for her first purchase, and was also given a US$ 20 gift card.

Kid must have been pissed... What a **** up B-day...
The title of the article literally made me laugh out loud. Before reading the entire article, I thought in the back of my mind that perhaps Walmart would be involved. And to my surprise it was. I once purchased a DS, but ended up returning it after a few game sessions. So, I packed everything up and returned it to Walmart. The funny thing is, the lady didn't even open up the packaging to make sure everything was in there! The day after, I jokingly said to my friend that I could have put a brick in there and still got a refund.

At first when I read the title, i was thinking that he had found some crack
lol Probably a douge bag might have replaced that DS with the rock.
OMG ROFLMAO, i don't want to seem like a douche but i found this funny as hell. LOL i would've been tight if that was me
There were those people who bought a hard drive from best buy only to find the box full of bathroom floor tiles. Sucks, but things like this happen...
What is wrong with people these days, It seems like we (QJ members) are the only ones that have any intellect whatsoever.
I bet the parents put it in there so they can sue Wal-Mart and get money.
