Watch: inFamous 2 PAX 2010 behind closed doors gameplay footage

Sucker Punch got some flak for turning Cole into an almost unrecognizable character in inFamous 2, but they remedied that with a close haircut for the game's electrifying hero. Now they've released some new gameplay footage at PAX 2010 showing the old/new Cole up to his old tricks, which means a lot of people get fried along the way.

 

It's pretty much more of the same running-tumbling-grinding action they've shown before, but that doesn't make it any less awesome. Check it out below. InFamous 2 hits retail next year.

I like the street damage. It would've been cool if we saw a few pedestrians go splat when Cole threw those cars.

This game looks more and more awesome everytime I see it...
Although, is it just me, or do the monsters in this game look ALOT like Necromorphs/Silent Hill creatures?

For some reason the melee seems a little slow for a game as fast paced as this, it helps that it looks also a lot more brutal than in the first game.

I have no idea how lifting cars is related to electricity but it looks so good i couldnt care less.

Electromagnetis m repelling cole and the metals in the cars.
