Peace never lasts in RPGs, especially in franchises. Thirty years after the Golden Sun was brought back in Golden Sun: The Lost Age, things are heating up again in Weygard thanks to the appearance of the energy-sucking Psynergy Vortexes.

 

That's the set-up for Golden Sun: The Dark Dawn, an upcoming DS RPG that stars the children of the characters from the last two Golden Sun games. See these kids in action below via a new trailer from publisher Nintendo and developer Camelot Software Planning.

 

 

 

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn will be released for the Nintendo DS in North America on November 29 and in Europe on December 10.

I loved the first two games. They were my first so called "epic" handhelds back in the day. Sadly I sold my ds because I never played it anymore. I just CANNOT wait for 3DS to come out. As far as I know, its backwards compatible so this game plus a remake of Ocarina of Time is waayy more than enough to get me to blow $300!
