Namco Bandai recently showed off their upcoming PSP game, Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team, at the Japan Expo in Paris. Check out the game in action below.

Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team is expected to come out in North America late this year.

they said this one would follow the story, im not so sure seeing the teams they showcased. Yamcha and a saibamen? lolno Then chotzu (however you spell his name) with the one green dude? that make zero sense.

Its also kinda funny how each of the teams have one member whos immensely stronger than the other, they're not balanced

Not the ENTIRE game is gonna be JUST a storyline. It was probably just demoing the multiplayer/computer versus mode or something.

the teams in the trailer were just picked at random. I would hope for special Team tag attacks that can be used when certain characters are on the same tag team. guess we'll have to wait for the release.

what would be the point if you could only match certain characters? that would the most lamest thing ever.

It'd be retarded if you couldn't mix and match whatever characters you wanted to. It may follow the storyline to the series, but that doesn't mean versus mode won't allow you to play any group of characters you want. Plus if you've played any anime game before, you'd realize there are "What if episodes."

@sage3k. I'm not even a huge DBZ fan and I know the groups shown weren't chosen at random.

Goku and Bardok are Father/Son, Jeice and Burter are a part of the Ginyu Force that attack Goku, Chiaotzu and Guldo both possess psychic powers, and Tien was killed by one of the Saibamen so other than that there's no real reason for that one.
