ducktalesFrom Deus Ex, he went to Epic Mickey. The latter is already expected to release later this year, so where's Warren Spector going next? The paperwork hasn't been drawn up yet, but if he has his way, he'd like to work on Duck Tales. Actually, he's very excited about it. I mean really excited.

"A day does not go by where I don't tell somebody at Disney: "Gimme the ducks. Gimme the ducks!" he told IndustryGamers. When you think about it, the Duck Tales gang does have a knack for adventure, it has multiple characters, and many other elements that could potentially make a great game.

"Uncle Scrooge, come on! Donald! Huey, Dewey, and Louie! Come on, let me do a duck game!" he said. "So yeah, I would love to do a duck game. Uncle Scrooge is the coolest character, you know? He was Indiana Jones before Steven Spielberg was a gleam in his mother's eye, you know? I mean, come on. He's a great character."

Duck Tales already had a video game back in 1989 for the NES, developed by Capcom. It's been two decades since then, so maybe it's time we see Unca Scwooge waddle out of retirement.

This might be awesome. As long as it has the theme song.

Keep the song and everyone's favorite DT/DW crossover character... Launchpad! Even if all he does is fly you out when the level is over or bail you outta trouble, but a flight level would be cool too.

the duck tales viewers back then are now old, and kids today probably won't know much about it.. so if this comes to fruition, i hope they cater to the now grown-up audience of the old duck tales.

Thief was better than Deus Ex.

Except Thief 3 which was trash.

I'm not too sure about this warren spector character.

I still play the Game Boy game when I get a nostalgia attack, so I'd love to see it make a comeback - it was a great, imaginative cartoon back in the day and deserves a new audience in my opinion.

Duck Tales 1 and 2 on the NES are fantastic games, I still regularly replay them. If Spector is going to do a new Duck Tales game, I seriously hope he retains the pogo-stick/golf-club gameplay along with the exploring to find hidden treasures. I think it's a tragedy Capcom never made a Duck Tales sequel for the SNES.

What about Donald Ducks' Quack Attack for the Genesis? That game was sweet!

Do it Mr. Specter. DO IT.

Warren Spector was also the creator of Thief series aswell.

He didnt do 3 but he did 1 and perhaps 2.

Hes a genius and I hope he does do Duck Tales, I mean his creations always come out REAL GREAT like Thief 1 and Deus Ex 1.

That would be freakin sweet! I grew up on the disney afternoon including Duck Tales, Chip n' Dale's Rescue Rangers, TailSpin, Darkwing Duck, Bonkers ...etc. It would be awesome if they made a new game for the 3D Generation. I agree that they need to keep some of the key elements (i.e Theme Song) to make it authentic but they also need to realize that none of the children these days know anything about the 90's cartoons and the in depth plots they had for their time. It may be smart to cater to a more adult audience considering that we are the ones that watched these shows religiously as children. lol (Now if they'd only make a "good" Tailspin game) :-*
