2K Games just released a new Developer Diary video for Mafia II, and if you want to know how it really is to get down and dirty (in an expensive suit), then you better watch this.

 

 

 

Vito Scaletta takes the lead here, from gun-blasting action to fist-pumping, car-blowing and cops-chasin' around his city. It's better seen than read, I say.

that we actually keep the realism as far as cops. in part 1 if any one remembers you can get pulled over for speeding arrested for having your gun out and stuff. but they should take a page out of the godfather 1 and let you "grease some palms" to have them look the other way. painting your car is pretty cool. realism as far as... dying in 3 bullets or so is nice cause im sick of these kinds of games where shooting someone with a 9mm in the chest with no kevlar on and it takes 7 bullets in the chest. in that regards im happy for that. its also nice that they made this game a little more tactical so having to take cover and having to move to a better one because yours is blown full of holes is pretty awesome as well. Good work Don Salieri would be proud

so is either mafia II or la noire. wonder wich one will top the other, and i have a feeling it's gonna be mafia II, but we haven't seen much of la noire yet.
