For the retail releases, there are a couple of games for the PS3. First is Rango: The Video Game which "invites players to continue on Rango’s wild journey through new adventures inspired by the movie. Set in a gritty, pint-sized, Wild West World filled with off-color characters, wild rides and frantic shoot-outs, Rango invites players of all ages to meet the residents of the town of Dirt and play through Rango’s whacky Tall Tales of Adventure, brimming with intense action and outlandish scenarios."
The other is EA Sports' latest installment to their successful boxing franchise. Fight Night Champion sheds its Round number name and claims the belt for its name. The game has revamped punch control commands, a new system for stamina and recovery, and for the first-time, an M-rating from the ESRB. This means uncensored language, a tasteful dose of violence, and an uncensored sountrack.

For downloadable PSN titles, there are also a couple. First is PixelJunk Shooter 2, which is the first real sequel in the PixelJunk series. It's not an encore, and it will be played as such. There's new content, new enemies, and a new online PvP mode for players to out-shoot and out-maneuver each other. In case that's not your cup o' java, then you might consider the digital release of ModNation Racers.
There are demoes to try out as well:
- MLB 2K11
- Call of Duty: Black Ops
- Top Spin 4
- Alien Breed 3: Descent
- Marvel Pinball
It might be a little too late to try out Black Ops, but hey, if you haven't yet, might as well. You a sportsfan? There's one each for MLB 2K11 and Top Spin 4 - I'm particularly looking forward to Top Sin 4 since I've been without a tennis title in so long. What'll you try out?
