Yesterday, Gearbox sprung a Borderlands Game of the Year edition on the gaming public. Will we be seeing a similar announcement from Naughty Dog soon? It looks like we will, if Play-Asia is to be believed.
Talk of a GotY edition for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves have been circulating since last month, and even the developers themselves have expressed an interest in it. Now Play-Asia is adding fuel to the rumor by accepting pre-orders for it.
Do note that neither Naughty Dog nor Sony have announced it as official yet. Odds are it's real, although the first game didn't get a GotY edition as far as I recall.

Yeah, but Platinum titles are just budget re-releases, aren't they? GotY editions of late usually have some extras like on-disc DLC.

I don't like Platinum game releases at all, prefer the original cases design.

I still didn't BUY U2 (rented it and beat it though) but I was planning to. So a GOTY edition would actually be awesome.

and most of them have nothing extra... MGS/Infamous even killzone 2 has nothing =p
