Ubisoft: Splinter Cell 6 in development

In a recent promotional video, game developer Jade Raymond confirmed that they are currently working on Splinter Cell 6 at Ubisoft’s newly opened Toronto Studio. "We're working on Splinter Cell 6, the next iteration of the blockbuster franchise, and we're doing it entirely here in Toronto," says Raymond.  


 

It can be noted that back in May, Raymond revealed that she was working on a new Splinter Cell project with the core Conviction team, though didn’t elaborate on any further details.

It was kind of obvious they'd be continuing the series though. I honestly didnt like Convictions but the co-op play was really awesome. I'm hoping for more moves this time around and a bigger co-op story :)

Conviction was by far my favourite game in the series. I hope the next is in a similar style to it.

Conviction was shit, bring back the old style! The real Splinter Cell not some shitty new way to milk the franchise.

Chaos Theory will always be number one in the Splinter Cell series.
