Avalanche Studios has made it known that they're well-aware of the reception of movie-games, and they're constantly trying to prove that Toy Story 3 will be different. From the looks of things, they seem to be on the right track. There are quite a few gameplay clips on this trailer, so check it out and see if it's to your liking.

Why is Goldeneye the only good one? It wasn't just good as a film-game, it was an outstanding game in its own right!

it's really creative, and rewards kids for exploring which is what kids were meant to do.

Especially for animated movies, random minigames and shuffling of characters is very common and this doesn't look different at all. It might as well be Shrek with the characters swapped out.
I feel the only thing that they are really doing is just SAYING and ADMITTING things that suck up to the general public. It's already known that most movie games tend to be on the poor side and the Wii is aimed for younger players. I doubt any company filled with regular, normal people would have thoughts otherwise.
