Tiesto joins DJ Hero 2

Get your turntables ready as Activision reveals that superstar DJ Tiesto will finally be making his video game debut as he lends his talents to the upcoming rhythm game DJ Hero 2.

The grammy-nominated musician will be bringing his own unique style of music with two exclusive mixes "spinning for a new audience as he takes to the virtual ones and twos, delivering a pair of pulse-pounding mixes and joining the ever-growing roster of playable characters, including Deadmau5, David Guetta, DJ Qbert and others."

DJ Hero 2 is set to release later this fall, for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.

Umm, just to be fair, Tiesto has been in other video games. He was in a few different Tap Tap Revenge tracks and tracks on their other (albeit less good) game, Riddem Ribbon.

It's a highly underrated game. One of the best on the iPhone/iPod/iPad, but because it's not by a big name publisher, it's overshadowed by the greatly inferior Guitar Hero and Rock Band iPod versions.

Yes, I'm bitter. :)

Given the sudden trends in electronic, dance music. Would it be to much to give a game to those hands up artists? I wouldn't mind seeing Manian, Cascada, and the Italo Bros. on something other than DDR...~d^-^b~

Screw that. put some PENDULUM on that sh!t. or some Subfocus, Noisia, or Chase + Status. then I would RE-BUY this game. (I returned it shortly after owning it for only a week because it sucked that bad. (I'm a DJ in real life and the game didn't "feel" right to me.)
