Country fans have already gotten their share of the spotlight in the weekly Rock Band Music Store update, and now it's the metalheads' turn. Joining Megadeth's 1986 album Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying? this week is the entirety of the band's seminal metal album, Rust In Peace.



The songs listed below will be available on Xbox 360 and Wii on February 9 and PS3 on February 11. Each track will set you back US$ 1.99 / GB£ .99 / 160 MS Points / 200 Wii Points. Here's the track list:

  • "Hangar 18"
  • "Take No Prisoners"
  • "Five Magics"
  • "Poison Was the Cure"
  • "Lucretia"
  • "Tornado of Souls"
  • "Dawn Patrol"
  • "Rust in Peace… Polaris"

All the Rust in Peace tracks above can also be downloaded in one go for US$ 9.99/ GB£ 4.99/ € 7.99/ 800 MS Points. Wii owners will have to download each track one by one.

awesome stuff, I hope they keep putting up more early years thrash. I would've killed for a version of Anesthesia/pulling teeth on GH:Metallica, but nooooo lets fill it with the trendiest songs instead

Luckily we still have megadeth, seems to be one of the last thrash bands standing unfortunately.

I just saw a preview of Hangar 18, now I know they're not supposed to be super accurate or anything with their fretting, but at this point it doesn't even seem like they're trying, it's not as bad as eruption on VH... but damn. :-?

they fill up the store with emo bands, yeah sure...what I think about when I think guitars...is some whiney guy with a kelly osbourne-like haircut, that slashes his wrists cause his girlfriend stole his hairspray...


horray for Megadeth!!! I bought the first album as well, I still need the priest one as well...now they need to put Painkiller in its entirety...that'd be sick.
