No matter where the industry goes, there's always room for puzzles in a gamer's heart. The simple, yet seductive formulas have gotten players hooked for years and still counting, and pretty much in every platform out there. Of those that have been released over the past year, the Golden Joystick Awards have announced the titles that have distinguished themselves and deserve a prestigious award.
And the nominees are:
3D Picross- Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth

- Brain Exercise with Dr. Kawashima
- Katamari Forever
- LUXOR: Mah Jong
- Professor Layton and Pandora’s Box
- Scribblenauts
- Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll
- World of Goo
The Golden Joysticks have also announced the nominees for best downloadable. Fan-voting is currently on-going, so why not take a few minutes to cast a vote for your pick?
This year, the longest-running award-giving body in the video game industry will be having its 28th annual ceremony on the 29th of October, and will be hosted by veteran comedian Rich Hall.

Yeah how can an annual event (as it says on the picture) includes games that are over 1 year old from the date of the nominations?
