The Golden Joystick Awards is the longest-running award-giving body, recognizing gaming excellence since 1982. This year, they'll be having their 28th annual awards ceremony at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel. The Golden Joysticks are also known as the People's gaming awards, where the voice of the fans are heard and they ultimately decide the winners. As of now, that voice is now one million votes strong.

The 28th Annual Golden Joysticks will be held on the 29th of October and will be hosted by comedian Rich Hall. You can view last year's winners through here.
