Tetsuya Nomura coming to E3 2010

tetsuya-nomuraSquare Enix' Shinji Hashimoto has just let it slip on his Twitter that Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura will be off to E3. Apart from that, it seems that a new project is in the wings for the director.

 

 

 

 

"Next week, after a long time, Director Nomura will go on a business trip to E3," Hashimoto tweeted. As for that business meeting, he said it's for a new project in their Osaka studio.

 

 

 

 

 

As to what this new project could be, we can only guess for now. But for sure, Nomura must be bringing something big to the E3 table.

Specs for a possible Kingdom Hearts 3 (this time visiting Final Fantasy worlds would be nice)
A new game from this talented studio, and maybe a collection of Kingdom Hearts on the PS3, with some special bonuses. (and please don't make it multi-platform.. that would hurt the game A LOT (smh - FF13)

I read an article a while ago that quoted Nomura (or somebody from square enix). It was something along the lines of "Kingdom Hearts 3 is definitely a possibility since the demand is so high, we just have to finish up FF13". It sounds like KH3 could be a reality!

I just hope that he reassures me that Versus XIII is still PS3 exclusive. A new Kingdom Hearts would be great though. Honestly I can imagine how annoyed people will be if Versus goes multiplatform causing a delay in a new Kingdom Hearts.
