Games Media Properties, which launched the World Series of Video Games (WSVG) announced a partnership with Blizzard Entertainment (World of Warcraft, Warcraft III, StarCraft, Diablo). As part of the arrangement, Blizzard will provide a customized gaming area (dedicated 10mbp drop and 500 dedicated BYOC seats) for players at WSVG events this year.

The WSVG is the first video game competition circuit on multiple gaming platforms leading to the final rounds and ultimately to the world championship games. The events will be open to the public and will include 150,000 square feet of tournaments, exhibitions, concerts and other attractions.  Registration for the first three tournaments can be completed at the WSVG official website.

Blizzard EntertainmentÂ’s World of Warcraft is only the worldÂ’s most popular massively multiplayer game with around six million players worldwide. Blizzard's track record includes nine #1-selling games and multiple Game of the Year awards. Battle.net, the company's free Internet gaming service, is the largest in the world with millions of active users.
