Super Meat Boy fires back at PETA

With every PETA attack comes a quick retort. Not long after the animal activist group launched their parody of Super Meat Boy, the devs behind the game came back with a few choice words of their own.

This Tweet was subsequently followed by an angry PETA supporter that was proud to say she could change lightbulbs and influenced other people to join their cause, thereby proving that this joke is wrong. Team Meat obliged the girl with a few more funny quips, including some Justin Bieber jokes, that you all have to read on a very long Tweetfight.

Prior to all that, Team Meat clarified that there's no way they're mad at PETA for the free advertising they've now been given.

As an added bonus, Team Meat mentioned via Twitter that they've just finished animating Tofu Boy - a parody of PETA's parody - and he will be playable in the next game update. Because they can't update on Xbox Live like they can on Steam, Tofu Boy will only come to the PC. Team Meat also jests that Tofu Boy cost more money to make than Super Meat Boy.
