Square Enix teases: Unannounced game will shock people

It looks like Square Enix North America has something new up its sleeve as Sonia Im, Senior PR Manager of the company, hinted on his twitter post that they are currently working on an unannounced project that promises to shock people.

I finally played chrono trigger the other day and it was all good until I got to the first town and half the characters where doing that walking in place moonwalk thing.

A small graphical detail I guess but it always bothers me so much that it takes me out of the game and so has always been a deal breaker for me.

Thats one reason why I never liked DQ either.

I really enjoyed Crono Cross though.
Well except for the main character design which I found underwhelming. But not distracting so I got used to it.

I played chrono trigger and didn't like the gameplay very much. The plot was good, and the battle system was great but character development was zero and the game moves forward sooo slowly that it's hard to not throw it away.

Could be an FFXIII sequel. If we look back a little bit in the news they said that they would love to do a sequel if the game does well. I think that's what Takeuchi said. I'm all for anything new though, even if it is a new XIII game, I felt a little disappointed with the ending.

It doesn't really count as a release. Granted, people are playing it, but it's not a full-on open alpha, its more of a request-an-invite-and-cross-your-fingers kind of deal.

For a short amount of time there was a wikipedia entry regarding FF15, but it's gone now :(

FF XII-2 would be awesome, if so, it should cover Vanille's and Fang's last Focus in more detail...

yeah, pariah, the alpha is only on for 4 hours at a time for each region, staggered i think too. prolly wont be full open alpha, but full open beta down the line. from what i've seen game looks pretty good, leaps and bounds over ffxi.

That game had so much potential wasted by equivalent faults.

So he'd be sure to have his hands in ruining a VS remake or sequel.

The first one was good.

It had a few balance issues but nothing a gameshark didn't fix.

I do agree that cakebaking and pants pissing could only have improved on part 2 though.

Dirge really was unfairly maligned by fansheep. It was one of the only decent things square had done in years IMO.

But after all the backlash they got, I guess for daring to not include daffy duck and a trading card game, they wont do something that cool again anytime soon.

It really is unfair what people say about this game. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't the Final Fantasy that SquareEnix has already made a dozen times over. I would definitely buy Dirge of Cerberus 2.

The 3rd Birthday is the already announced next Parasite Eve game, so that can't be it. It's more than likely another FFVII sequel continuing Genesis's story. That, or a Chrono game I guess.

if i had to guess, the one thing SE has yet to do, tho they came close to it with Dissidia, is a game that would pretty be SE cast meets "Tales of the World" gameplay. with Dissidia moveset and combat style. that would about the one thing we kno we are ALL looking foward to.

I don't think it will be this but if aything sequel wise i would think it wold be Chrono Break . Just because as someone pointed out its trademarked and will run out soon . I wouldn't mind that but i personally hope its a decent new ip . Oh did you guys know a few years back square had a 3d remake of Chrono trigger that they canned due to the game not being up to their quality standards whatever that means. Because it was contracted o to a 3rd party company a i think it was only for the pc. Bring on FF13 Versus and FF15 thats what i would like from SE.
