Square Enix sings Christmas remix with Chrono Trigger, FFVII

Nothing makes you feel all Christmas-ey like a round of holiday songs on the radio. For Square Enix, you can get a good dose of those plus a good hard smack of nostalgia. They'll be bringing back a few tracks from their archive of high-profile games and remixed them with a holiday twist.

Tracks include the Gold Saucer theme from Final Fantasy VII and the 600AD world map music from Chrono Trigger. Hit the video above to sample the latter.

The X'mas Collections album only has seven tracks and will be available in Japan by November.

I enjoy remixes (especially ones from square enix games) but this one is kinda disappointing
for good ones try project majestic mix (unfortunately they are no longer around) try "project majestic mix A Tribute to Nobuo Uematsu" (the best tracks are on the silver edition and the gold edition is a complete edition, with all of the remixes)
or one up studios (they are still around) try "time & Space - a tribute to yasunori mitsuda" (album number ous-001)
unfortunately both of these albums are no longer available in new condition (you may find a second-hand one in new condition but good luck)
