playstation_trainer_triangleSony Computer Entertainment has announced a new logo licensing program targeted towards other manufacturers to produce a variety of lifestyle products from apparel to everyday items. Officially called the "PlayStation Logo Licensing Program", this new initiative will allow licensees "to design their product using the PlayStation logos and or the iconic marks. The program is applicable to a variety of lifestyle products such as apparel, accessories, house wares and more. Furthermore, SCE will provide "Official Licensed Product logo" to be used on product packages, proving that the products comply with the guideline and have been approved by SCE."

Introduced in June 2009, Sony's current official licensing program for PlayStation peripherals and accessories currently has more than 123 items from 45 licensees. Sony hopes that with this new inittiative, other third party companies will further help them "enrich the licensed product line-up and deliver various quality lifestyle products that will make the PlayStation brand more accessible than ever."

im all for it, Sony gives soo much to their people and people still talk down about them, and I dont get it, Nintendo had a Piano everybody! among other things and you didnt talk bad about them then, so I would expect the same from you when Sony does it.

Well i have no thoughts on that but i do have a problem with Sony going through 3 consoles and not evolving the controller even slightly because the shape is part of their brand image, it's not like they got the thing right first time because if you got big hands it gets all cramped and sweaty and just takes away the enjoyment, but MS is on it's 4th evolution if you count the Dreamcast and is a perfect fit.

This whiny ass bitch does. The controller is perfect. Stop shoving your hand in a bee's hive and you'll be fine. The controller is fine. It's perfect, even. Don't fix what isn't broken. Xbox controllers have always been convoluted and feel like toys >_<

PS3 DS3 controller is excellent except L2/R2 are very slippy meaning, your fingers slip off very easily.

I've bought real triggers, applied to it, and it's excellent.

But anyway, don't be a troll and going on to offend the rival that's childish.

Just because some people have hands small enough to NOT cramp, doesn't make it perfect.

Thing is, larger controllers are usable still by people with smaller hands. However small controllers are NOT usable by people with bigger hands.

I for one have the dualshock cramping problem which is a big reason why I favour Xbox gaming. Its not like the Xbox pad is perfect (for me personally the Gamecube pad was probably the most comfortable so far) but it takes a while to cramp up whereas the PS3 pad, literally a few minutes.

You can call us as many names as you like, it doesn't alter the fact that out of all controllers out there, the Playstation one has the most problems for some of us.
