Sony announces four more PSP Greatest Hits games, new Favorites budget line

Four more PSP titles have been added to Sony' Greatest Hits line. That means the games below can now be bought for US$ 19.99. The price applies to both retail and downloadable versions, by the way.

For those with an even tighter budget, Sony has introduced a new "Favorites" line full of games that cost only US$ 9.99. The first "favorites" games are:

 

  • Ape Escape: On the Loose
  • Buzz! Master Quiz
  • Hot Shots Golf Open Tee
  • LocoRoco 2
  • Patapon 2
  • PixelJunk Monster Deluxe
  • SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo
  • Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow
  • Twisted Metal: Head On

 

Sony says titles from third-party companies such as Manhunt 2 and Silent Hill: Origins are also slated to be added to the new budget line.

OMFG, it's about effing time. $39.99 for a download game that goes for $25 new is a slap to the face to every person who bought a PSP Go. I haven't bought a download game from PS Store in a long time because I was boycotting the ridiculous same-as-real-games pricing for download games. But now instead of buying all three of these as I would have if there were reasonably priced from their release, I'll probably just get LBP.
