Fans of Shiren the Wanderer have been wondering what will come of the sequel, or when it will come. Yesterday, however, developer Chunsoft finally said something about it via their Twitter account, and needless to say, it's very encouraging.
In response to a fan question regarding the game's sequel, Chunsoft replied that Shiren 2 heading off to the Wii Virtual Console was in fact a possibility. While there are no guarantees at this point, the fact that they are mulling it over is a good sign of great things to come for the game.
Let's just hope that Shiren the Wanderer 2 gets localized into English this time around. We'll update you as soon as we hear any more of this.

Or is this a MIS-TRANSLATION?! Do you actually mean MYSTERIOUS DUNGEON 2? That's Shiren the Wanderer 1 - the FIRST game - FOR SUPER FAMICOM - released in 1995!!
