BioShock's novel, Rapture, just got a March release date back in January. That date is apparently short-lived, however, as we now receive word that the launch of the book has now been pushed back.

Publisher Macmillan has yet to say anything official about this matter, but online retailer Amazon has already edited out the product page of the book, changing the March 1st release date to July 19.

are you disappointed about the delay? i wonder how much the 30,000 additional words would make a difference.

John Shirley is a good writer.

Odd to see him doing franchise stuff these days like novelizations and tie-ins and shit.
But if I had to read a Predator book I'd prefer to read it done by John Shirley!

I like that they've chosen a real talent for this.
And its a good fit.

Looking Glass have always had an understanding and commitment to the artistic side of their projects.
