Is Dissidia Final Fantasy coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360? If this scan is to be believed and understood correctly, the answer is a big YES.

 

This tip was sent in to BitBag, and unfortunately, there was no other information that went with it. The scan's there clear as day, alright, but without proper knowledge of the Japanese language, that scan might mean just about anything. We're not even sure if the mag is Famitsu.

 

So to any of our readers out there who does understsand what's in the scan, do share please!

The PSP case specifically says "Only on Playstation" which means Sony has exclusive rights to this IP. If it hits a console then it will be the PS3 or PS2 only.

I can't even name every game that started out on the 360 that said "Only On 360" on the box and then came out on the PS3. Bioshock is just one of them. Also,by your logic if it says "Only on Playstation" then it could still end up on the PS3.

Very true, at least for the whole, "Only on [System Name Here]" comment. As for Dissidia being thrown on the 360, it'll piss more people off but I could definetely see them doing it "again". The fanbase'll be shot though. When you think of Dissidia you don't think of anything but Playstation. Same thing goes for Final Fantasy, or at least it did anyway.

The big writing (ファン希望の続編！！！), reads 'The continuation that all fans were hoping for'. I find it off they would make a sequel for a system other than the PSP.



Though, look at Valkyria Chronicles I guess.

The quality for the style & even the shots is the exact same as the "Lightning from FF13 coming to Dissidia!" scans you can Google that Bardock617 was referring to. I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same guy, I admit he has talent in forgery

the one part that really gives it away is that Kain is done in Amano's style meanwhile Tetsuya Nomura does the art for Dissidia.
