Runic hopes to release Torchlight on consoles by the holidays |

Even with the studio busy working on the sequel, it seems Runic Games still hasn't stopped trying to make their dream of putting Torchlight on consoles a reality.
"We're trying," said Scaeffer in an interview with Joystiq, "we're talking [to Sony and Microsoft] and we hope to get that done quickly." A release window has yet to be decided on, but Schaeffer says that it'll "hopefully" be available "by the holidays."
Schaeffer also revealed that the Diablo-like action RPG is already en route to a million copies sold, with the 750,000 barrier broken only recently. The sequel, Torchlight II, is scheduled for a Spring 2011 release on PC.
