They're idiots if they think they can charge FPS players a subscription fee, without adding some seriously extra content. The FPS playerbase is incredibly fickle and will happily switch allegiance to alternative games in a heartbeat.

Just look at the games which have arguably topped the popularity stakes amongst FPS multiplayer games and you'll see there is a huge variety. From Quake 3 to Counter-Strike, Medal of Honour to Battlefield, Halo to Call of Duty - FPS gamers aren't simply happy to sit and play one franchise indefinitely.

Haha, well now I know I can sell my copy of MW2. At first I wasn't cause I thought well maybe I might want to play it later on once it starts getting monitored again to stop all of those damn noobs that boost and cheat. But after further reading these comments it made me think of all the BS stuff that has happened to me on that game. What made me really realized it sucked was how there's always those little kids that play it. I even know a kid that plays the game....non stop -.- but it really doesn't matter, cause no matter where you go, your still going to have little brats playing really violent games because of parents who think its harmless. Well they do hurt, they hurt the adult players who are tired of hearing their squeeky voice and constant yelling when they die. I'm not ashamed to admit I play Halo, in fact I've played them all. And you know what, I just found a new way on getting some quick cash to get Reach. At least the kids that play Halo don't have mics. Now if only those retarded Heavy southern accents Rednecks would stop talking. Thank God M$ gave us the best option ever, the mute function hehe :)

screw activision, i'll stick with ea. ten years ago, when activision was making fun games like thps and spiderman (not the movie tie in) and ea was generally churning out disappointing sequels and bad movie licenses, i never thought i would switch sides. good job activision, you've successfully swapped places with ea as the industry douchebag.
