Surely, you didn't expect Two-Face Harvey Dent to give Batman trouble all by himself, did you? Of course not. If we're talking about Batman: Arkham Asylum 2, it's gotta have the villains that didn't make it to the first one. Word on the street is that Mr. Freeze and Talia al Ghul will be among them.
The two were apparently outed by their voice talents. Stana Katic, better known as Kate Beckett in the TV series "Castle", supposedly Tweeted her work as Talia. Although the info has since been pulled from the web, Gaming Target was able to snag the scoop. Mr. Freeze, on the other hand, was outed by voice actor Maurice LaMarche, who will supposedly play the cryogenic criminal.
Two-Face's appearance was also confirmed in the game by a voice actor's slip, the guilty party for this one being Kevin Conroy who voices Batman. But until we can get something a little more solid, this one's getting tagged as a rumor.

I just hope there's a bit more variety in the boss fights. The first game was excellent, but there were too many fights that were basically the same: all the "big guy" fights.

I'm not sure if a lot of the heavy hitters like these could make the game more enjoyable in the same game or lose it's luster because of being so many.
Forgive me as I have yet to play the first one so no idea how many villains there were (please no spoilers as I will get it once I get a paycheck or 2!)

There never can be too many villains for Batman can't handle
