Rock Band offers three The Doors tracks for free this week

Big fan of The Doors? Then you definitely would want to get your hands on this offer from MTV Games for Rock Band 3: if you buy the game, you will be getting three The Doors songs and will be able to play it for free.

Now listen up because this is how this will work. From October 26th to November 1st, the tracks "Light My Fire", "Riders on the Storm" and "Touch Me" will all be available for free download, along with the Pro Guitar and Pro Bass add-ons for each of them. All you have to do is access the in-game music store, and you should be good to go.

If three free songs won't cut it for you, then wait for the full 12-track The Doors special that will be added to the game's music store, just in time for Rock Band 3's official launch on October 29th.

Europe will be getting this sweet free deal a day later, on October 27th (Wednesday), not for anything really, but just because Wednesday is when the EU PS Store gets updated. If you miss out on this promo, you'll still have your chance to get The Doors tracks on RB3, but it won't be for free anymore.

In the meantime, here's the awesomeness of The Doors in "Light My Fire" to rev you up for those killer riffs when it hits the Rock Band store.
